My wife and I hired Dolce Catering for our wedding. They were helpful until we signed the agreement and gave them our deposit. After that they couldn't be bothered to answer our calls. We ended up changing our wedding venue to another close by. We were informed that we would have to sign a new agreement with the new location. Problem was that they wanted significantly more money per plate and it was much harder to cancel the catering. After no negotiations because they wouldn't answer our calls, we decided to cancel the original agreement. Because how can we trust a caterer for our wedding, when they try to hold us hostage and we don't hear from them for weeks. We did not believe they would show up to our wedding ready or with the right food. The agreement we signed said that our deposit would be refunded if we cancelled in time, which we did. Big surprise, they refused to refund our deposit. And they never answered our calls, emails, or letters after we informed them that we wished to cancel. They are unprofessional and horrible people to do such a thing to their own Jewish community. I suggest you never consider hiring them, we wish we didn't.
