I would give a zero but it won’t take it. I took lessons for 4 months hoping to buy a horse from her. We had a paper written For deposit 500 dollars. if I was unable to ride for health reasons or lack of funds I would get a refund. She gave back half and didn’t honor the other half. She is not a person of character. I wouldn’t buy from her. I took a lot of things from her like paying for a lesson and her never coming till 2 hours later than yelling at me that I need to ride more , I wanted the horse so bad I put up with the rude comments and she’d be on her phone most times yelling from a chair. Don’t subject your kids to her , their are really nice instructors in Phoenix. Shop around

Linda is a fabulous instructor!
Linda Leslie is the best! She's accomplished, the ultimate most knowledgeable professional trainer I have ever come across. Forty years ago, I rode and showed, American Saddlebreds. Due to life's circumstances I have not ridden since. Having had a life changing accident which damaged both cervical and lumbar areas of my back, 5 knee surgeries, both rotator cuffs torn, I was a challenge for any trainer. In fact, no one was willing to take me on ... Linda did. There were challenges along the way but with Linda's patience, unwavering positive attitude I am again riding. So if you're looking for an excellent teacher and knowledgeable trainer, I am highly recommending her facility. If you want to really learn propper horsemanship this is the place. Riding is not for sissies, she doesn't babysit or coddle her students. She's strict and down to business. She takes your safety and teaching you to ride correctly, very seriously. If you're serious about learning, Saddleseat, Western, Huntseat for fun or progressing to showing, this is where to start.
Linda was very rude and belittling. She was very sassy and didn’t have much patience. I paid for a private lesson but low and behold five other people came over, watched me, and rode around the arena for fun (they didn’t pay for lessons). Then about halfway through the *private* lesson she promptly left me and the horse, hopped in her truck and left for about fifteen minutes to go get feed or something. If I could give zero stars I would.
I found Twin L Performance Horses and it's owner Linda Leslie by mentioning to a friend that my daughter wanted to try horse riding. We have not looked back. Not crazy expensive either. My 9 year old is totally devoted, is now riding in competitions at Horse Lovers Park and Westworld and can't get enough. I love the fact that it gets her outside, off the screens and electronics and she is interacting with and looking after an animal. HUGE, huge benefit. I do not have to wonder where she is or what she is doing, and the best part is she is surrounded with like minded individuals of all ages who love horses and the great outdoors.
