Epic experience! My family and friends had an outstanding time! We were a \lucky few\ to swim the Arkansas River care of some crazy rapids. Our guide, Spencer was awesome. Can't say enough about him. As noted we took an unexpected swim in the river and he did an outstanding job getting us back in and making sure we were all safe. Now this comes after going through class IV and V rapids which was AWESOME! You will definitely get a thrill and your moneys worth if you decide to run those class of rapids. Just a warning be ready and whatever you do, DO NOT take your phone and leave your keys at the front desk. A certain member in our party has both their phone and keys at the bottom of the Arkansas River. The staff took great care of us while we dealt with that issue and we are grateful for the hospitality and service. Echo Canyon River rafting will provide an adventure you will not forget! Oh and wear a belt, my shorts now belong to the river.

Well run & organized. Easy location with good amenities (tshirts & things, bathrooms, lockers, food, bar, etc). Fun way to spend a 1/2 day. Sara our raft guide - smart & witty, very responsible, and super funny. All the guides seemed fun & laid back - can't go wrong with any of them. June is supposed to be the best/highest water levels - will be back for that!

We tried Level 1/2/3 during August. Water levels on the Arkansas River was lower due to season, hence the rapids were more calmer with a decent amount of rapids that are not too scary but fun for kids. Definitely good for families with little kids. Our guide Philip/Flip was extremely friendly/informative/funny and made the the rafting trip worth it. Same ride would be more exciting during the May June season due to more melting snow. He even allowed folks to float in the water along with the raft at the calmer areas, which the kids enjoyed. The rafts are equipped with gopro cameras facing the passengers of the raft. They have a restaurant attached to the rafting center. Folks are bussed to and from the starting point. Washing hands and masks are compulsory before boarding the bus. But the bus was packed. Water shoes recommended and all your locker items will be stored in your own car.

We had an incredible trip! Very exciting, educational and action-packed. The Echo Canyon crew informed us of what to do if we were to be thrown from the raft and a couple of us were fortunate enough to use that training. Their commitment to safety got us all safely to shore and back in the raft with a great story to tell family and friends!! 10/10 would definitely go again.

We had three of our Grandsons with us, who’d never rafted before. We were concerned, but the folks we spoke with a week or so beforehand assured us that it would not be rough, and that they’d really enjoy it! They were absolutely correct! We had such a great time! There were seven of us altogether, so we had to split up into two boats. Our guides (Jeff & Tyler), were amazing! They even made our trip extra special for all three of our boys! We would definitely do this again, with Echo Canyon, when we’re back in Colorado Springs!
