Birthday Cake Ice Cream: Cedar Crest Ice Cream is a premium ice cream company located in Cedarburg, WI. They offer around 80 flavors of their delicious ice cream and their claim to fame is that they invented the now wide spread \tracks\ in ice cream. Birthday cake (along with peanut butter, cookies and crème, and blue raspberry) is one of my all-time favorite product flavors and since today is my birthday it seemed appropriate to review it. Cedar Crest delivers an ice cream that they describe as yellow cake flavored ice cream blended with cake pieces and sprinkled with multi-colored candy pieces. The ice cream is creamy, flavorful, and has an abundant amount of small chewy yellow cake pieces blended in. Even more numerous than the cake pieces are the beautifully colored candy pieces/sprinkles that encompass every scoop. I loved this flavor and will be buying it again, but I do have one very minor complaint. The packaging depicts ice cream with a yellow hue to it (which makes sense since it's flavored like yellow cake), but the actual ice cream is clearly white. It seems like it would be simple enough to add yellow food coloring. Just a thought, like I said I enjoyed this flavor and it's easily Doughboy approved. Doughboy_Food_Reviews
