This is a good location. I used to go to the Randolph YMCA, which I also enjoy. Pros: I love the track that’s above the basketball court because I don’t like running on treadmills. I like how the gym is set up into smaller rooms so I don’t feel overwhelmed by being in a huge room full of machines. Cons: It’s so cold to me. This might not affect other people because I just naturally run cold. It feels like its like 68 degrees in here and I like being in rooms that are 74 degrees, but that’s just me. It’s a good gym

One year ago we paid for a one year membership for my daughter's swimming lessons that were supposed to start in March 2020. Due to covid, the lessons were canceled and they advised us that the membership would be frozen until swimming lessons could start again in January 2021. They also told us they have a no refund policy. We just called to find out when swimming lessons would start again since it's not only almost January but every other swimming lesson facility has been open since July. The supervisor in the aquatics department told us that swimming lessons for small children would not begin until absolutely all covid restrictions are lifted. As this will probably not happen for another year, I asked to please refund my membership back but they keep saying no. I'd like to put my daughter in another swimming school but would like my money back from the YMCA first. They have all rights to choose to not offer a service, they asked money for, due to safety concerns for their staff, but since it is their choice, they should refund all the money they have been holding to for a year now. I am assuming the money has been spent and that's why we cant get it back but this is absolutely unethical and far from the service they proclaim to offer.

We moved out of NJ during the COVID-19 gym closure. The Greater Morristown YMCA refused to reimburse us of the 1 month membership we paid and during which the site was closed. They also refused to reimburse us for our daughter’s swim lessons that never took place. And as usual, nobody is never responsible of anything and nobody can provide answers.

Absolutely horrible customer service. There is no other way to describe this. We prepaid 1 year of membership fees, but the gym was completely closed just under 6 months. Now, they are offering to extend the membership only 4 months. This is blatant theft.

Beautiful new facility with very good equipment. The price is very reasonable compared to any other gym of this quality. The facility is clean and the equipment is fixed promptly when needed. There is never a wait for aerobic equipment. I have not experienced any rude behavior from the staff. In fact, I have forgotten my Kindle on the machines a couple of times and the desk staff has gone looking for it and saved it for me. I am surprised by the bad reviews. My family loves it here!
