Beautiful place! It was a little getaway from a daily life especially this hurtful era. They provide hand sanitizers at the place. There is a little shack (kind of) for chips and hot cocoa/coffee, but I recommend you can pack some snacks on your own and have them in the car at the parking lot. I would go back some day!

Such an amazing place to explore, beautiful grounds. I highly suggest athletic clothing or footwear as I made the mistake of bringing heeled boots. Great photo ops and overall a breath of fresh air.

Thank you to Sarah & the staff at Vanderbilt for hosting us for the most beautiful micro-wedding! Our morning was absolutely beautiful and I can not recommend you and your staff enough!

Our favorite low-key fun activity with the kids. It's mind boggling how much a single person / family can own! It's small for a museum, and palatial as accommodations for daily living. We start with the planetarium, and secure tickets to a show - these tickets go fast. We then take the time until the show to go over to the many different buildings at a leisurely pace and soak in the charming place. Do not miss the room with the whale suspended from the ceiling - it's a little tricky to get to!

Excellent place. Even I can tell the building is old and cranky, but still in relatively good and safe shape. The landscape well kept and the location and view is magnificent.
