Very polite, courteous and professional. Daniel stayed in touch and communicated regarding his arrival time and their rates were very fair. From my limited knowledge of stoves he did a very good job as well.

Never showed up for a scheduled appointment. The office called saying he'd be an hour late. Two hours later, Dan called to say he was close and would be here soon. Over an hour after that he texted and said i needed to call and reschedule with the office. No apology. I wasted over 4 hours waiting for him to come.

Very polite and professional team did a wonderful job of inspection and cleaning. Dan took the time to explain how to get the best useage of my wood stove and reviewed best safety practices. I have been using this company for 20 years and have total confidence in their work.

I received a quote from Dan Owen for a Class A chimney installation for a new wood stove on floor one of a split level home in the Poulsbo area. Dan came to the house for the initial estimate while I was out, and all of my interactions were over the phone or email until the day of installation. There were several factors that led me to cancel services with Dan and seek a refund for the parts ordered. 1.\tThe business license used during the estimate on December 18, 2018 had been suspended on September 14, 2017. I brought this up to Amber and was told that they were restructuring the business and were able to get a valid license by date of installation (January 20, 2019). 2.\tGave inaccurate information regarding building code requirements of outside combustion air for new wood stove installs. 3.\tArrived nearly 3 hours late on date of install. I reached out to Amber after 30 minutes had gone by, and was told he was picking up an employee in Spanaway, but gave no indication on when to expect Dan. 4.\tDan failed to bring all of the mounting brackets for the chimney and would have to arrive the next morning to finish the installation before the scheduled inspection. We had to reschedule once from earlier in the week. He made no indication of the missing parts at that time. 5.\tAfter 30 minutes of discussing the installation process, I began to question Dans abilities to pull off the installation up to expectations. This was my first conversation with Dan in person, and he was unable consistently identify stud locations and to explain our options for wood stove placement. I informed Dan that I will not be using him for the installation and will be seeking a refund. Overall I was not impressed by the professionalism or skill displayed by Dan at time of installation. I would not recommend him for future business and will be seeking another contractor for the installation. I have since been refunded the money for the Class A chimney parts.
