I was an inpy at the Banner. University location. While I was there, I was advised of an intensive Outpt program that I could continue to receive intensive counseling 3 days a week. When I called them back to let them know that I was very interested in enrolling... only to he told that because I will be having neck surgery in 2 weeks that I am not eligible to enroll. She asked if I could call back after my surgery!! If I could wait that long I would not driven myself to an inpt facility in the first place. Another disappointment from our mental health system. If you don't fit into their ideas of a program then there is very limited help to any of us that are in need of help. Good luck getting the help you need here!!

Took my suicidal daughter in to receive intensive outpatient services through Banner. Joanna Shapiro the Clinical Director asked us to leave after telling me that my daughters neck and back brace from her injuries was a \liability!\ What kind of counselor turns away a child asking for help?
