This is a much needed facility in our neighborhood. This is a great place for our youth to have a safe place for sports & activities. Pastor Rodger did a great job on making this project a reality.
My son love's this place and it has help him a lot on his behavior. Now usually when he gets from school he gets right on his chores and ask if he can be drop off, which before I had a hard time. He seems to enjoy everything they offered.
Place doesn't allow bmx bikes in the park, says the park is too small. I don't understand why bikes aren't allowed, I find it really sad I have to tell my brother that this is just another place we cant ride our bikes. There are already too many skatepark that are anti bikes. I don't get it, it makes me sad. We have plastic pedals, plastic pegs, rubber tires, and plastic bar ends. So I highly doubt a bike would cause any damage to the skatepark, compared to a skateboard that has metal trucks to grind ledges.
Great place with amazing people running the facility. I've work cleaning there before and they're really inviting. Also they seem to run full court basketball on Saturday mornings... Pretty interesting I'll be in there next time!!
