As a child psychologist, I have recommended the Auburn School to parents since its inception. Even before it's inception, Mr. Erik Heyer, the founder and director of Auburn reached out to me to discuss the planning of his school in Northern Virginia. At that time, Mr. Heyer had already experienced great success with the Siena School in Maryland; Siena is an excellent school for children with dyslexia and related learning disabilities. I was immediately impressed by Mr. Heyer's passion and vision for Auburn during our initial meeting, and over the years, it has been a pleasure watching Auburn develop into one of Northern Virginia's leading private school's for bright students with social and communication challenges.
