Encore Dance has been a wonderful fit for our daughter. They have several different types and levels of dances so everyone can succeed. The teachers are talented and make dancing fun. The choreography and variety of dances make the recitals amazing. Raynor and Mario manage a top flight studio.

Really great school, my young children love coming to class. A variety of classes: hip hop boys, jazz, performance teams, modern, etc... Teachers are warm and friendly. Raynor and Mario do a fantastic job running the studio with students first. I look forward to watching my girls grow up here. I highly recommend Encore for your children's artistic education.

My daughter has been dancing at Encore for 6 years and it has been a very positive and rewarding experience for her. Encore could best be described as a professional, instruction based, preparatory academy for theatrical arts. Over and above the opportunity to learn to dance, the students are exposed to acting, singing, choreography and theatrical production. It is a family environment where the girls are encouraged to work together, to encourage one another, to be independent and to dance at their highest level. The shows, the choreography, the costumes, and the dancers are always spot on! We heard Encore was the place to dance but this studio is so very much more than a dance class. We have never looked back or considered anything else and we are incredibly grateful to be a part of this wonderful experience. This is the place to be!

My daughter, Maya, transferred to Encore seven years ago. I am so pleased that she is provided ballet training. Technique is a focus as she learns ballet, jazz, tap, and modern styles. I RECOMMEND this school to anyone who is looking for a top-notch studio. The students who are studying dance at any level and in any style of dance seem happy and they are encouraged to work hard. There are many options and the school is growing. I truly enjoy the comradery of the other families/parents and the teachers encourage a POSITIVE environment. Students are encouraged to try new things and to try their best. My son is also enjoying his classes in the school and is demonstrating rapid improvement. We are very pleased to have found this studio!

After trying many dance studios in DC, MD and VA, we decided on Encore for our daughter who is a serious dance student. This is one of the only studios in the DC area that teaches Broadway style jazz. They have a great variety of classes at all levels including jazz, tap, ballet, leaps and turns, hip hop and modern with top notch instructors. Many students have been dancing for many years, and the high retention rate means there are many Middle School and High School Students. My 14 year old daughter has been taking classes at Encore for two years now and we appreciate the challenging and encouraging environment. She truly looks forward to each class and is receiving excellent training. The associated company, Encore Theatrical Arts Project, puts on professional level shows at Christmas and also in the Spring.
