I have been a part of FXA for over 7 years (Primarily flag football). Over the years this organization has provided an overall great experience for competitive adult sports. They continue to improve in many aspects of the league, by updating rules and considering input from participants. Obviously there are times that officials will make mistakes or a certain rule you may not agree with. During this past season, in the playoffs for Thursday night the officiating was exceptional. I played in two games back to back on the same field. Russ, Rudy and a third (wore a mask and couldn't tell who it was). They made calls on both sides, explained the reasoning behind each call respectfully to both teams. When there was a call that they had to make, they came together as officials, discussed in a huddle, and made their call. They were extremely consistent on both sides, which in my opinion is the biggest factor for officials. During one of the games, players started to argue/complain, the officials were able to diffuse and calm the situation and moved the game smoothly. In addition, during one of the games, a couple players started to get into a small altercation. The officials didn't overreact, calmed the situation, and made sure the games continued. Overall the officials did a great job in both games and made each game enjoyable to be a part of (even with a loss in the championship game). Looking forward to continue participating in this league.

I've played in FXA's soccer and kickball leagues. I've played with a group of friends and as an individual. Whether I knew my teammates or not, I've had an awesome time playing and hanging out afterwards. I highly recommend signing up if you're new to the area, or just love playing sports and being active.
During these unprecedented times, FXA has lacked the moral code of ethics to provide people with better options. I have an elderly parent I am caring for during this pandemic. I do not feel comfortable playing this summer since it seems we are seeing an uptick in COVID cases. I have asked them to use my money for the Fall with a caveat it is safe to do so. Our age and my demographic is culpable for the spread because of socioeconomic and some selfish circumstances. The refusal to fairly work with their clientele to understand the predicament we all face is unacceptable. As an aside, their refs they hire are 50/50 at best in that some of them are attentive some of them could care less. I would highly recommend you read through their no refund policy and their response to this pandemic as a stark warning for not signing up with them.
DO NOT JOIN FXA! Spend your money elsewhere They do nothing to fix the problems with their league (Sandbagging, no refunds, terrible locations) They instead spend most of their time making excuses to the customers that call out their shortcomings. They’ll basically email you saying sorry and why they can’t fix anything then you’ll never hear from them again. Their customer outreach is a surface level attempt at saving-face rather than an actual discussion on how the league can improve.
I spent 100 to join a men’s basketball team. Refereeing is terrible. Location terrible. I was put in the wrong league. Not signing up for fxa again. Waste of money and time.
