Well-maintained historic site that tells the story of what farm life was like in the early 1800's. Grounds are free to walk. It's a lovely appr with several trails to walk around the property.

Visited it with my nephews when they were young. Great and well maintained historical site. Staff was friendly and knew their stuff. Lots to see and I was kind of surprised how few visitors there were. It is kind of out of the way and I don't think it is well known.

We went to Sully Plantation for the Father's Day car show. It was not a disappointment. Rows and rows of antique cars, great choices of food at the food court, LIVE MUSIC, and a flea market, too. We enjoyed talking to the owners of the cars and hearing the history. It sprinkled for a few minutes and that turned out to be a bonus because we got to see all the owners putting the tops back on the convertibles. So cool! The only downfall was that the food was very expensive. But we had a great time and are looking forward to next year .

Sully Historic Site is a plantation from the 18th century. Yes, that means people were enslaved on the property, which some of the markers indicate. If you visit, keep that in mind and use it as a lesson as why we must fight for equitable systems today. The property is spacious with a walking trail to the mansion and to the other sites. Parking is free. They host a number of activities like tours, scavenger hunts and programming for all age groups.
