Super cool little walking garden area. I love that UNC has all these little areas for relaxing and walking through the campus. We walked through here after getting to the planetarium early for our arrival window and it was a great distraction for the kids.

Pretty cool place. I went in the winter, I think its a 5 star experience in the spring and summer. The tree archway is sweet.

Absolutely loved walking through this arboretum and its gardens. Even a week into November, there was beautiful fall colors and lots of green. Even a few blooms! The space was relaxed and filled with people walking, studying, and taking their portrait. If I lived in Chapel Hill, I would walk here all the time.

A little slice of Heaven! While walking on campus, looking for the sundial just chanced on these gorgeous gardens. You walk down a gravel trail and immediately feel like you’re in another world. While it’s still early for most flowering trees, there are lots of daffodils, pansies, tulips, etc. Especially loved the arbor with all the vines. So fun and peaceful to just walk in it. It’s such a tranquil place. Will be coming back again and again. A very windy March afternoon, 2019
