I recently brought in a couple of vintage American Flyer locomotives and a transformer in for repairs. The set belonged to my dad and as a kid I remember setting it up with him. So, it naturally has a lot sentimental value. Butch and the repair team took excellent care of each piece and was super honest on what was worth fixing and what would be incredibly expensive. I was so excited to set it up today - brought back a lot of memories and even sent a video of it to my dad who was as excited as I was to see it working again! Thank you to Butch and team!!

The railroad hobby shop to go to for all gauges, including O-27. A large selection, knowledgeable staff, and fair prices.
Brought in a defective brand-new unit and was given a replacement on the spot which was supposed to also be brand-new. Appreciated the fast service; however, the traction tires on the replacement were clearly different from the original. One kept falling off causing derailment and the other very quickly started fraying at the ends. There was also considerably more grease on the replacement. In all a very frustrating experience for a eady to run\ set bought for the holidays
This is the model train store for New England. It's even located inside an old train depot building. They have a wide variety of scales, models, rolling stock, and locomotives. If you love train sets this is a good visit.
