We were able to make a same day reservation (weekday) and be on the water in short order. I wish I had caught the name of the young man who set us out and greeted us at the dock, but he was awesome. Clean, well running boat perfect for our needs. Definitely recommend this company!

Amazing experience seeing Charleston from the water. The staff and the equipment were both first class. Great instructions and friendly service from the staff. Very knowledgeable on the local sights to see and great guidance for suggested routes to take. I would highly recommend Charleston Power Boat Rental for any sea/river ventures to other travelers! This is a predatory scammer business, stay away if you don't want to be over charged! They claim we beached the boat (owner saw us supposedly) and charged us 500 'fee', when before rental they told us we can go to sand bar and where. We were careful to turn engine off, lift it and not beach the boat. They make you sin your life away in legal documents before rental and use that as way to charge these fees. They even, in their own defense, gave us examples of all the other reasons why they charged other customers fees. When we returned the boat, it was lifted up from the water and inspected. We were told by their employee, that there was no damage!!!
So my experience was amazing! I was initially greeted but the sensational Lynn. Here’s a few Snapple facts about Lynn: she’s a Charleston native, so you could say she’s a unicorn of sorts. Equally majestic as she is powerful. She is also a big fan of bill Murray and has sat next to him at a local bar. A friend of bill Murray is a friend of mine. She LOVES to travel. Who doesn’t love to converse with someone who is worldly and learned? Overall an amazing experience. Jason or whatever his name is was great too.
The woman who answered the phone was very rude and not very helpful! Definitely made me want to rent a bit from another company
