I’m so happy to come across Charleston Home Rentals. Not only do I love the house I recently moved into but the kindness and knowledge these realtors have is amazing. I was lucky to have Brittany Sweeney(who’s absolutely the sweetest). She was very patience with me as I came across some difficulties, but she still kept reaching out and helping me find ways to make me get the house I wanted. Want to thank you Brittany and Charleston home rentals for the amazing service and making it so easy for me.

Have been using this company to rent my house out for about a year now. Not only do they not communicate with you, it seems like they don't even care. Every time I have tried to talk to them, I get an automated response and they might get back to me in a week. If I could rate them worse, I would. Am currently looking for another company to take care of my property.

Charleston Home Rentals is the worst company I've ever rented from. There were THREE unauthorized entries into my apartment while I stayed there. That is a completely unacceptable practice. Good luck getting someone on the phone over there - they NEVER answer. Requests for repairs went unanswered. My carpet got soaked from an AC leak and I had to clean it up myself. Used my own fan and towels. This property management company is a JOKE. I will forever be telling anyone who will listen how awful they are.

DON'T RENT HERE unless you don't mind terrible communication and throwing your money away. As many of the other reviewers have stated, your security deposit basically belongs to them from the moment you pay it and you'll never get it back. And when you try to ask questions about why they took away random fees from your deposit they simply do not answer. Left the house spotless yet was still charged for unexplained cleaning and admin fees, and yet to hear back about these charges. Brittney Sweeney abandoned us from the moment we moved in, not responding to a single phone call or email, and the accounting department has not answered any of the times I have called them.
