My sister ordered this cake for our mom’s birthday. The cake was beautiful and looked amazing - inside and out. Because our mom has celiac we have to have gluten free food to accommodate her. It was a white cake with strawberry inside - completely gluten free. This was not a good gluten free cake. The cake was so dense it was like eating a dry sponge. The icing was the equivalent to a slightly sweet crisco (very thick and greasy). The strawberry slices were sparse. My husband and I both agreed that it did not taste good. My mom did not say anything (which usually means she didn’t like it) and my sister couldn’t finish her slice.

We ordered cookies and cake pops from Sweet Rhi for our daughters' baptism. Rhiannon was able to squeeze us in almost last minute and the cookies and cake pops were incredible (both tasting and looking)! We will definitely be back in the future for all events.
If you're are in or around the Charleston area; Sweet Rhi is without a doubt the best cake shop around. Rhi's cakes are the best; she pays so much attention to details and is timely in her response. I could go on and on about Rhi, to put it bluntly don't make any cake deals without visiting Sweet Rhi! Thanks Rhi for the wonderful carrot .
Hands down one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Rhi is easy to work with on designing your personal cake or baked goods. Timely communication and the cake tastes as good as it looks! Couldn’t recommend this enough if you’re in Charleston area!
Sweet Rhi was amazing throughout the wedding planning process. Rhiannon has a culinary background, is very knowledgeable and able to make just about any dessert you can imagine. Her new shop is so cute. Our cake tasting was fun and all of the flavors were so delicious. The only problem was trying to choose which flavors for our wedding cake because they were so yummy! We ended up doing a grooms cake and mixed desserts at wedding as well because the cake options were that good. Our wedding cake was amazing and she provided us with all of the stands to use. She had a good selection to choose from stands at her shop. She texted me day before and day of to put my mind at ease. Everyone raved about the cake at the wedding and still talk about her cake and amazing desserts to this day (particularly her famous banana pudding). She even sent us home a box at end of night with desserts all packaged up if we didnt get to try them as well as a anniversary cake. Amazing all around and I recommend as your go to Cake for all events, in particular weddings!
