The museum has great information. and the parks service employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't say this a great place for small kids, as the museum is mostly reading information. There is also a small gift shop.

Pretty cool monument with history markers, gift shop, reenactments, and old paintings. You can climb to the top of the monument (which isn’t for the faint of heart). Great place to visit if you’re looking for history stops in Boston.
