The man at the register was one of the rudest men, made my wife cry. Will not be coming back. Ever.
I absolutely love this place because the food is made fresh right in front of you. The blueberry tea is always delicious and healthy. That helps negate some of the ill effects of eating a triple cheese bacon cheese steak with cheddar ranch bacon fries lol. Worth every penny even though it is quite expensive. Still the best thing in the food court that's not fast food.
Never had a bad experience with any Charley’s until today. I always get cheese fries with shredded cheese rather than the nacho and I asked for that, the guy making my sandwich put the cold cheese on my fries & handed them to me. I told him every other Charleys sticks them in the toaster (which was right behind him) to melt the cheese, to which his reply was “we don’t do that here” uh okay. Will never be back.
I arrived at the Mall of JC location planning to spend at least fifty dollars on food here. But was told by an employee that they had already broke down and already starting cleaning the fryers for the night. They told me they were not going to make any more either that waiting would be a waste of time . Remember they are NOT supposed to close till 9:00 pm. So I wonder how they expect to run a successful business doing things like this. Ridiculous!!
I waited for my food for a very long time. My family was able to get food from three different places and consume that food before I ever got my sandwich. The employees were too busy talking to acknowledge my presence, the only person they had to cook for. The meat for my sub wasn't placed on the grill until about seven minutes after I paid. They were not short staffed, there were about five to six employees behind the counter. Very disappointed, I used to love coming to Charley's in the Johnson City Mall.
