We have had our system for about a year. A few things to know if you are looking to purchase a RainSoft water system. 1. They need a filter cleaning every year, which is expensive and the salesman does NOT tell you this. 2. Your yard where the water empties our to will be completely dead and produce a black sludge because they dont dig it down far enough. 3. We had a pipe blow in our garage during a reboot system in the middle of the night, we now have water damage to our entire garage in which they did nothing other than connect the pipe for us... 4. We still have water marks in our toilets and shower heads. 5. YOU CAN BUILD THIS FOR MUCH LESS BY YOURSELF.

Told me free water test when I called. Upon arrival serviceman then told me they do not do free water tests. I specified I had coliform in water to the polite woman who answered the phone. Owner contacted me on my review and I am revising it. Perhaps she did not know coliform is not tested free.
I've used Carolina Water since we put in a whole-house softening system in 2014. Their technicians are timely, polite, and thorough. They not only take care of maintenance, they also anticipate our upcoming needs and leave extra salt when needed. (Jesse did a great job today.) I'm grateful that Debbie calls when it's time for service too.
New Build. Products in use for almost 4 years. We have experienced product failures unfortunately. Both filters (EC4 & QRS) in garage and the air master unit installed in the air handler. The company is very responsive to the issues and resolved our issues immediately. To be fair, the products work well, when they work. I have not had them lab tested for accuracy, but I feel they do what they claim. Considering the cost point of these products, I have expected better life, but we will see the longevity of the replacements. Of course with replacements even under warranty, their are additional costs associated from the failures for labor.There will always be defects in manufacturing so I understand this business all too well. Product wise, I unfortunately give 2 star just because of the expense relative to \mean time between failure\ rate and labor costs associated with warranty replacements. As far as the company, I will hold a 5 star rating. They support me and continue to work to make sure we are satisfied with our purchase. The service techs have always been professional and very attentive to our needs.
These guys are great! They keep track of when you need a service and call promptly to schedule, always able to work in within a few days. Jesse D came out to our house and was fantastic, very friendly, let me know exactly what he was going to do, asked if I had any questions and even made friends with my rambunctious dog. Wonderful experience!
