Hi. I am from Argentina and I've lived in Charlotte for almost 4 years now. In Argentina the culture is still very retro everyday. What I mean is if you need your shoes done, there is a cobbler to fix them for nothing. If you need a dress done, there is a seamstress to help sew it for you. For pennies! If you need any type of upholstery work there are MANY people that still specialise in this and can get you the fabric you want, with quality work, and the price you want. My husband and I needed work done to reupholster our couch. I mentioned to my husband many times why is there no one here? He said there are and we called a few and they quoted us a down payment on a Ferrari! I became more frustrated until today when we found Cowbridge! Yay! Common Sense and great business and customer service lives! Thank you Scott, thank you Lisa for listening to what I needed and being able to deliver without having to sell one of my children! I had just moved into a new apartment and needed a few pieces of furniture. I went to many of the Big Box Furniture stores, but didn’t really find what I was looking for. Happened to walk into Cowbridge Furniture and I had a very different experience. The owners Lisa and Scott greeted me and listened to what I was looking for. They walked me around their showroom and what they had available on that particular day. But the best part of Cowbridge is that they provided me with various ideas, and they can custom make for you a wide variety of furniture styles & materials. I bought two wingback chairs while there, and had custom pillows and an ottoman made for me from the same piece of leather to match the chairs. They also made me a custom dining room table that has French style legs, and looks incredible. I’ve had all of this furniture now for 3 years and they look as good as when I bought them. No one else I know has anything like these, and I’ve gotten many compliments while having friends, family, and coworkers over for drinks. Thanks Lisa and Scott for an incredible job and for making my life easier!

My wife and I needed some special work done on our antique chairs. What an unbelievable surprise to walk into Cowbridge. In todays world where no one cares when you walk in the door, we were greeted so warm and sincere by Lisa and Scott. Besides that we discovered a whole new world of furniture the likes of which we hadn't seen anywhere else in Charlotte! Truly unique furniture and in some cases hand made, antigue, re-upholstered, you name it. All priced appropriately.
