These people were not only unhelpful, they were not at all friendly. From the time we entered the store, we were treated not as customers, but an inconvenience or even irritant by both the associate and the owner. My suggestion: do whatever you have to do to have your eyewear needs filled elsewhere.

Can you imagine this? The puppy chews up the eye glasses while I take a nap! I can’t see or read or drive without them, and my regular place won’t see me during the quarantine. But, Grady was the BEST! My neighbor dropped off the lenses at Eastway Eye Care. He came out to the car and she handed them to him in a bag. He asked her to wait, came back out to the car, and through the window gave a price and two choices of frames. In one hour, the glasses were done. They fit better than the old pair. Thank you, Grady. Your care and expertise saved me so I can carry on in these difficult times. One other thing: I live alone, so not being able to see was a real scare. Thank you!!!

My prescription is strong enough that I can't live without my glasses. I can't watch TV, I can't drive without my glasses, and if a friend were to wave to me from a couple feet away I probably wouldn't wave back because their face would be too blurry for me to see. My vision is that bad! I also work in construction which means my lenses tend to get scratched up bad when I do demolition or work in crawl spaces. I decided to bite the bullet and make an investment and bought a pair of safety glasses. imo it's probably one of the best purchases I've made this year! Not only are my eyes completely protected but it also has the added bonus of keeping my more fragile glasses away from the abuse of work. I'm really happy with my purchase! :)

This place takes Medicaid for glasses (which is nice because literally nowhere else will) but you have to bring your prescription and Medicaid card with you in person, there are no exceptions whatsoever. I usually end up buying a pair too because I can get those for a good price. They say they'll have them ready in a week but I pay a little extra for same-day services (I get mine back in like two hours), since I really don't like waiting. Medicaid glasses take a couple weeks though. And then I have two pairs (one that I bought and the other Medicaid pays for) just in case something happens to the other. It's a good deal.
