My experience with Dominique was by far the best I have ever had!! Yes it was scary at first but she walked me through every step gave me all the details and never hesitated when I asked a question nor made me feel dumb about any of my choices. She accepts medicaid and walks you through the steps. Even after my baby was born she was right there every week to check on her and I, if needed anything at all she was there!!

I love Dominique and the presence she brought to my prenatal, birth, and postnatal experiences. My son, who was born in the bathtub in Dominique's birth suite, is now one month old. Looking back, I can't imagine my prenatal experience without her. I was always SO excited for our appointments. With Dominique, you get her full attention for an hour or more (something that was VERY important to me, hence why I went searching for a midwife and never went to a doctor's office/hospital). She knows her stuff, she has such a beautiful energy about her, and she really made my experience special. The birth of my son was amazing, and more beautiful than I could have imagined. The birth suite that Dominique provided was familiar, relaxing, quiet, and safe. During my labor, her presence was grounding and helped me believe in myself and my abilities. She's like a mother of mothers, and I believe she was born to do the beautiful work she does. So, if you're looking for a midwife that you can trust wholeheartedly, that can give you massage throughout your pregnancy (huge perk), or that will honor some of the more alternative wishes a mama might have, Dominique is the lady for you. I really wish I felt like I could write something that does her and her practice justice, but this will have to suffice. My experience becoming a mama would not be even remotely the same without her. And as someone who was worried that my low income (and being on Medicaid) would force me to receive care at a hospital, I was relieved to see that she accepts Medicaid, and that any out-of-pocket costs are doable.
