Impressive even if you're not a UVA alum. Mr Jefferson himself helped to plan the Lawn. Happened to visit over the holidays when I was the only person present and snapped these great pics.

The lawn is magical. Bring your dog, play some frisbee or ball, or sit and enjoy, maybe bring your lunch, take some pictures with the Rotunda, interact with others, etc.
Definitely like the place. It's relaxing and beautiful, especially in the falls.
