I LOVED exploring downtown Roanoke and photographing this winter wedding at Chart Hall! One of the hardest things for wedding photographers during receptions is making sure that we don’t miss anything. You never know when the bride and groom are about to have a sweet moment with grandma or if someone is busting a move on the dance floor. This reception space was all in one location so I could be present on the dance floor and still see what was happening in the rest of the venue. Kaylee and her staff went above and beyond for my couple helping us direct traffic for their first look. This was not something they had to do but really helped us out tremendously! Kaylee also checked in with me throughout the day even though she was busy working! Her team even flipped the ceremony space into the reception set up while we did family photos at the arbor. They finished the set up before we were done with family formals (which were only 20 minutes!!). I can't recommend this venue enough and can't wait till we photograph another wedding here! :)
