Love used book stores. Love this store. A mix of yarn, books and pottery. These are a few of my favorite things...and, a dog that gives kisses. Found two great Christian study books for myself, a Marvel comic for my daughter and an offer for free knitting lessons from the owner. Good things still exist, even during Covid.

As a tourist walking down Broad Street, I came across this store and wanted to check out what type of items it had to offer. Upon entering the store, I had no idea what type of store it was. The store was a complete mess full of books, yarn hanging from all places in the store, and random furniture and objects. You have to climb over items to get from one area to the next. I asked the store owner what this store was about, inquiring if this was an antique store and it appeared that she got upset about that. She was not friendly at all. There were also two dogs in the store that just sat there quietly. I have no idea who shops here or what I could really buy from here. Maybe some old books for a decoration piece but seemed more like a junk yard sale.
Any true lover of books will appreciate this book store. I love messy book stores and this one in particular is piles of fascinating reads. I was happy to get lost and find a few treasures in here. I also enjoyed the owner’s stories of the scholars she’s met and sold books to over the years. The owner is gentle and opinionated. If you’re up for a good read and a conversation; this is the place for you.
Lover of books! Came in after eating such an amazing breakfast across the street instantly started being rude hinting she did not want us in there. As she made comments of my boyfriend’s clothing how he needs to re fix his outfit and throwing racial slurs about us towards other customers would never return again
My kind of bookstore. Kind of a mess, but it's lots of fun hunting for treasures!
