We took our 3 10-yr-old grandchildren on the short steam train ride. We were able to walk right up to the idling engine to watch how it works. The whole spectacle was up close and personal. The grandchildren can't wait to ride a train again.

Zach was extremely knowledgeable and taught our little future engineer everything he wanted to know. Tons of historical info about the equipment and route during the outbound trip and, conversely, a quiet ride back to the station. In the middle? A demonstration of one of the few turntables left functioning in the world.
