This shelter is an AMAZING place for families in need. The staff are so nice and Ms. Kathy is an amazing woman. She works hard to help the families that work hard with her to get back on their feet. It's a beautiful shelter, very clean and tidy. The rooms are nice and every family gets their own AND private bathroom located in the room. The kitchen right next door offer 3 warm meals a day. My family and I are truly grateful for everything. We came from the North facing homelessness and absolutely no help. Thank you McClellan Shelter for all you did for my family and for all you do for the community and city of Chattanooga!!!

The Staff is Absolutely Amazing! Everyone goes Above and Beyond and not just for the families in the shelter.. but for each other and more..They do so with out want for anything in return but to see and be apart of others joy and success. So peaceful and such a wonderful environment. The Best Facility for Families and I could go on for days about The Wonderful Staff!

My daughter and I were homeless so we were accepted in to this shelter. This was a great place to stay. We had our own room w/a bathroom. We were given a key card to access our room. We were also provided with linens. We had the option of eating at the soup kitchen next door. Several local business brought donations of food. I had fresh bagels at least 2x a week. Private groups donate personal products and baby nessicities. The staff is curtious and help any way they can. The program manager went above and beyond to help get us in to our own apartment
