I've been going to McKay's for about 18 years now. It really seems they have been lacking the past couple of years. The staff use to be full of happy cheerful folks that were fun to talk to and really helpful. Now it seems they have replaced most of the older employees with younger folks that treat it solely as a job. There is no love or passion in their eyes. It may sound strange but the passion of the employees is what made McKay's feel different than other resale places. The inventory is always lacking now. Just miss the old days. I was told by former employees that they were let go or fired to bring in newer employees at a much cheaper rate. It definitely is void of life now. I'll still go though. Just more of an in and out now.

I love this place and could spend hours browsing their incredible selection. Since all the libraries are closed in our area we stocked up on books for the kids for a fraction of the price they would cost anywhere else. There’s lots of other stuff too, like games, puzzles, music equipment and toys.
Love coming to this place!! Great books for a great price!
Great selection of books with even fairly new releases. Store was clean and sanitized considering the high volume of customers. The movies and games section was very organized as well. Best place to ditch the retail prices.
Will be visiting this establishment often. It's great.
