A deposit of about 65% of the total cost was given up front. Paperwork and requirements were done promptly for the installation but months and months went by with no word from anyone even after multiple attempts to contact. I asked for my money back and threatened to sue before I could get a response. I agreed to go forward and again tool months before we could get it installed and only than got it done because a separate person at Remi contacted the owner about how bad it was. Finally got it installed and had a nice hydraulic leak which took....you guessed it....months to get resolved. Suppose to get the first years maintenance free and have a number floor light that blinks rapidly at times....been trying to find out how I can get my first year maintenance and what this problem with the light may mean. We have called customer service, service advisor and even 2 different technicians with either no reply or someone will get back to you. As of yet no resolution. Finally my contractor was contacted by a representative to see if we had any issues. I called and all I got was I should contact customer service....again terrible or ignorant personal. I have let the realtor community in several cities know as well as the high end contractors to avoid Remi at all costs.

REMI did a fantastic job on our home elevator! Even with delays due to Covid they were responsive and helpful throughout my build. Their install crew was fast and efficient - I can't recommend them enough!

Would not recommend this elevator company! Quick to take your money, took forever to schedule installation and elevator broke within a year and cannot reach someone to assist with a repair. Update: Someone called and walked me through how to repair the latch sensor which was causing the elevator not to work.

Bad product, bad service. The phone number listed for REMI Houston office is not working number. It is practically impossible to get hold of any person in the company once you have your elevator installed. The sale person who communicates with you before the unit is installed stops helping you. Period. My elevator stopped working due to burnt wires on the relay because of poor assembly. It turned out that was one of the two relays serving the same function. There were two of them for extra protection. If a relay fails the elevator would not stop and go through the roof. The second relay was a back up to prevent the accident. The technician took the faulty relay, made the elevator work with only one relay, said that would come back to install the replacement and neve came back. Now my unit has only one relay. I can not make anyone to come and install needed relay. Now hydraulic started leaking, the same story. You leave messages, nobody return your calls. I don't know write good reviews for this company but I can guess. Once REMI rep called me and asked if I would be willing to write a good review in exchange for a free service. Nobody came to do the service though. Stay away from this company if you don't want your life to be complicated by dealing with REMI

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No communication. I have been waiting since the first of May for my elevator. And of course they want to be paid in advance, which would be fine except that YOU have to call every month and ask them where your elevator is. If this is the service I am receiving during the sale I am scared to death what it will be like if I have a problem if it ever gets installed. Honestly, do everything you can to avoid this company and the months of frustration.
