Wow! Amazing food and amazing service. We love this restaurant. It’s such a gem. The food is very unique but there’s something for everyone. Surprisingly, the seafood dishes were especially good and I highly recommend the scallops as they are perfectly cooked. The wine list is also eclectic and extensive. Overall great food and a great experience and atmosphere.

Wonderful place for a great meal. This was our second visit. First visit we sat in the bar and had pizza. It was very good. Yesterday Laura was our server. Attentive without overly so. Great recommendations regarding food and wine. Nice portions and fairly priced. Very pleasant and relaxing meal. Menu items that would be very difficult if not impossible to find any where else in the area. Go and try Uptown.
What a wonderful surprise! All we were looking for was a place that wasn't fast food on our way from Chicago to Decatur and we got such a nice, delicious meal! The plates were beautiful and the waitress was kind. It took a while for the food but it was worth it. I'll make the hour and half drive to come back to try more of the menu.
