The view from the boat house at Chequessett is unbeatable. When I saw this I was worried about how easy they would be to work with, thinking that they might not care about their clients since they knew they had a great location. Luckily I was wrong - they were so fun and helpful through the whole planning process it was great. Since we were from out of town, they always worked with our schedule for on-site visits when were came to the Cape. As we started to work out our beer, wine, and liquor selection Tia made suggestions for the liquors in our specialty drinks. She was even able to source whiskey from a distillery in Michigan close to our cottage! She was also very responsive in getting us lists of possible sparkling wines for our first toast so that we could taste them before making a final decision. On the day of the wedding the staff were always available to assist. For our guests that have trouble walking they provided a golf cart to get them to the ceremony on the beach. They also had golf carts available to take guests from the reception in the boathouse to the bathroom in the clubhouse. I was initially concerned that the bathrooms were so far away, but everyone enjoyed the golf cart rides so it didn't matter to them that the bathrooms weren't in the boathouse. The location of Chequessett may be the reason that you first visit, but it will be the staff that will make you glad that you booked your event with them.
