Ordered hibachi for pick up. The steak was ordered medium rare but was well done. Chicken flavor was almost non-existent. Fried rice was almost regular steamed white rice. Salad was only lettuce with 2 shivers of a carrot. Do not recommend unless you want to waste your money

OMG!!! Great food! I have been going around Virginia Beach, but I would usually be disappointed in many Japanese restaurants I went to. This place is golden. I loved every bit of my orders and even helped myself with my friends' food! Haha! We all shared and enjoyed it! They were scrumptious! What's even cooler is that Inaka Sushi Hibachi does not have peanuts in anything they have on their menu. I came in with friends with peanut allergies with no issues! The sushi The bento The rolls Tempura, and more... Loved it!!! P.S. If you have peanut allergies, but love Japanese food, THIS IS DEFINITELY the place to go!

Our family went tonight for my grandson 10th birthday. We had EXCEPTIONAL service. Food was outstanding, fresh and fast. The establishment so crystal clean. Open walking in you feel like you are welcomed and a special guest. It was 6 of us and we didn't have to wait for anything. Even with a mask on we were greeted with a warm welcome and everything we requested was prepared and brought quickly. We were given special deals on our check that we were not even prepared to receive. My grandson was so overwhelmed when she surprised him with the fried ice cream and she brought spoons for all of us to try it as well. We will surely be back...This is the spot to go too.

My first time ever going here and it was amazing. Service was great, food was perfect and the atmosphere was comforting. Before we decided to come here, we had another place we were going to go to. The hostess told us it was a 40-45 minute wait. After 35 minutes, I went inside to check how much longer it was going to be. The hostess was rude and proceeded to tell me there were 3-4 tables waiting ahead of us. After another 30 minutes of waiting, we left. We then chose Inaka. We should've gone there first. Thank you Inaka! You saved us from being HANGRY! We will definitely be return customers.
Love this place! We found this beautiful sushi restaurant while looking for a quality place for girls' lunch on Fridays. Hands down, some of the BEST sushi in Chesapeake, and I have been eating sushi in Chesapeake since 2006. I have some family favorites that we are loyal to, but Inaka Sushi is some welcomed competition! Relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, beautifully plated rolls... and delicious! I love that Inaka does not "americanize" the sushi with globs of cream cheese, sweet syrups, and fried/cooked additions to each roll. QUALITY, fresh fish... and some Specialty Roll combinations of flavors that I have not seen on menus locally in the Kempsville/Volvo/Greenbrier/Battlefield location. Definitely worth a try!
