This place makes me feel so cared for. I've been here twice and each time the staff and doctors have been so attentive, informative, and fast! I had no wait time and the doctor saw me right after the nurse left the room. Not fun having to go here of course but the staff make it warm and caring. Would highly recommend if you have to go.

I went to the ER and was treated very kindly by everyone. They not only were able to get me in to see a specialist by the next day, but they were able to diagnose something else that had been bothering me as well. Other appointments after the ER went smoothly and the staff were always informative and kind. I really liked their surgery staff and the blower heaters in the beds were amazing. Thank you!

Terrible health care. Waited in the waiting room for over an hour, then waited almost 2 more hours waiting to be seen by a doctor. Doctors and nurses were rude and didn’t seem to care at all. After all that time I was given an antibiotic shot in the rear and sent on my way. Just received the bill today, they didn’t file my insurance, the bill is 3800.00 just for a shot! The bill itself doesn’t itemize the charges, so you have no idea what you are paying for. Needless to say, I will be calling the billing department first thing Monday. I would not return to this hospital if my life depends on it.I will definitely go somewhere else where you are treated with decency.

In January of this year my mother had a stroke. Being a Nurse myself, I knew that time was critical with a stroke. As soon as I got her there, Dr. Duncan Holaday came to the waiting room and took her back ASAP! The receptionist was so nice and allowed me to go back with her before even getting her insurance information. Dr. Holaday was very fast at getting tests, labs and CT's to confirm the stroke. She was later transferred to another hospital that specialized in strokes, but he was very good at keeping her stable until the transfer was possible. The two ER nurses Kim and Marianna were very caring and fast at anything I needed. Great ER for a small town!! Thank You Dr. Holaday for taking such good care of my mom and ME!!

I highly disagree with any poor reviews. I have been in their we a number of times. The nurses and doctors treated me quicker than Piedmont or any otherical hospital. They actually care in this ER. I have been admitted a few times too and again, received nothing but excellent care. I lived further away and still travel to Chester when I can make it because of the care I receive there. I have additionally had my gall bladder removed in their surgical unit as well as both my Colonoscopy and Endoscopy where I also received excellent care. The facility is pretty old that is my only complaint, hence the 4 stars.
