Whether you prefer fields, forest, creeks, or farm land, you'll find it here. It has plenty of rest benches scattered throughout the preserve, most with views of the land or water. This Natural Lands' preserve is as clean kept and well-marked as every other. It has its fair share of steep slopes and not-so-beaten paths, which makes it a great place for avid hikers/explorers and dog walkers but not so great for very young children. That being said, if you are not looking for a high impact hike you can still come here for a pleasant stroll thru the main field loops and experience the beautiful scenery.

Local gem! This place is right around the corner from us, if we never had tried it out before. It’s not huge, but it is definitely lovely. It is exactly what it claims to be: a patch of land that preserves the natural feel of land between forest and field. We walked the 0.5 mile yellow loop with our young kids. Also, they are doing a very nice job during COVID-19. They limit attendance by the parking spaces, so it could be a bummer if you get there, can’t find a parking space, and have to leave. That said, it’s nice when you’re walking the trails and don’t have to worry about constantly passing by people. There is plenty of signage about masks, limited attendance, etc. All in all, a lovely place!

This is a beautiful preserve with well marked pathways that let you choose your intensity. My family and I loved exploring the trail and really appreciated how remote it felt. Parking is not plentiful but there never seems to be a lot of people there so I have not faced a problem yet.

Great place for walking, some level of hiking and best of all a nice quite retreat to get away for some fresh air!!

Binky Lee Preserve is a great example of how to restore over-farmed land back to a more natural state. The preserve has wetland, forested, and meadow areas. Natural Lands have made a special effort to create valuable nesting areas for Bobolink, Eastern Bluebird and Eastern Meadowlark whose populations have been declining because of loss of habitat. Natural Lands have planted over 50,000 native trees as part of their reforestation. There are great trails though all the different habitat types.
