Loved the Depot. My son loves trains so we planned to stop here on the way home. Cool museum with an awesome model train setup. The pics do not do the model train justice as the setup took up almost the entire second floor. Wish the train was running. So much detail. Wish they would have trains available for kids to get in and check out.
This Depot is the last of it's kind. It is designated as a historic landmark. The artwork and decor have been restored to their former glory. It is well worth visiting.
A very nice collection of historical artifacts photos and displays covering many topics of railroading and especially the history of rail in Cheyenne.
It has an amazing tiny model train set up but it's not running. I think the price is realistic to what you get. Its a cute little place but if you go towards the end of the day know that they turn the lights off about 20 minutes before they close
