The old man is very rude and shades are way over priced. I went to another Lamp shades store in Palatine because I was in the area and prices were outstanding compared to this place. Rude and over priced, no thanks.

This is a fabulous place for lamp repair and replacement shades. The best of all is they custom made a lamp shade for me that was damaged in a move. They hand craft their shades and the outcome was beyond my expectations. I recommend this shoppe without reservation, and plan to return anytime I need the types of service they provide. I see other reviews about \grumpy\ proprietors - ignore them - all employees are fantastic and were more than friendly. Love this place.
