Facility will push you! Great place to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks - literally and artistically. I look back at my BB training as bookmarks of what I'm capable of and where I can go from there. Graduate of the ACADEMY program and left the 100 day program stronger, and more confident with the material I get to showcase.

I took a studio class at Black Box and then did the Summer ACADEMY the following year. I can hands down say that training at Black Box was the most terrifying and exhilarating experience of my privileged little life and that it was the best thing I ever did for myself as an actor and as a human. It brought so much courage and emotional depth out of me that I thought would stay stuck in me forever and kicked off my acting career with a bang, giving me the bravery and momentum that it needed. If you want to kick your personal and artistic bravery into fifth gear and discover whole new sides of yourself, this place will bring you there.
The ACADEMY supercharged my ability to approach new work. The teachers provided exceptional feedback and helped me discover new depths within myself. I met an amazing ensemble of people who keep me accountable and nurture my spirit. Black Box changed my life for the better!
Black Box completely transformed my process as an actor. I know feel confident in my approach to anything from last-minute auditions to Shakespeare monologues. The teachers are some of the greatest people I have had the opportunity to learn from and I love the community I have found there.
This acting studio is where you want to train! I did both the Studio and the Acadamy programs here. I did a lot of research before I jumped in so I had heard and read great things before I started the training there, and my experience was fantastic. The work is rigorous, demanding, and outrageously rewarding. Just do it, you will not regret it!!
