This review is for lunch on the weekend during COVID. When you walk up to the front of Bodega Sue, you’ll see a wall of wine that lines a whole wall. The seating is comfortable and relaxing. Their wait staff is world class. They are some of the nicest people in the industry. They don’t come to the table too much or too little and have this kindness approach to their service! I loved the staff. The food is insanely amazing. We got the cheese, pepper spread with bread for our appetizer (highly recommend). All i can say is fresh and wow... My family and I got the rib eye, lamb and 14 oz steak. All of these were cooked to perfection and the presentation was perfect. The sauce that comes with the meat takes the flavors to a whole new level. We also got grilled veggies which were amazing wonderful. My Mom couldn’t stop raving about their mojitos. They are sweet with just the right amount of garish mint. The drink was fresh and made perfectly. Their menu is so large. You can order anything on any menu through the day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE!!!

If you like Tango Sur, you are in luck. This is their sister location located a few doors down. They also have a full service bar with the same great food. I highly recommend the filet, shrimp and spinach mashed potatoes. Amazing.

I have ordered here so many times I’ve lost count. They have NEVER once gotten the order wrong and each time the food and service is EXCEPTIONAL. Bodega Sur is a neighborhood treasure and if you haven’t yet tried their steak, their chimichurri, their provoleta....then you’re about be introduced to one of the best restaurants in the city.
