The fish was delicious, but my goat was under cooked for my taste like it more tender but the jollof rice was good.

The sister restaurant to the other Bolat Restaurant, this place is a great example of African cuisine. The environment and service was friendly and warm. Their lamb dish, I forget the exact name, was cooked to perfection and the presentation was such that it invited the foodie to dive right in. If you've never had African cuisine before, have this place be your introduction.

Very friendly helpful staff who want to share their food with you. Freely answering questions about the flavors and preparation. Beautiful presentation.

The food was amazing the grilled plantains with peanut sauce tasted like a spicey peanut butter banana sandwich... The grilled shrimp and avocado sauces, wow! Jerk chicken was awesome with coconut rice. The service was pretty good, the chef came out and checked on food. Could use some up keep in the restaurant.

Absolutely overpriced! They focus more on presentation than the taste of the food. Also, they are understaffed so be ready to wait for hours for your food.

The food is very good!!! I would definitely recommend the jellof rice . It is very good!!... On the other hand the service is horrible. The cashier always has an attitude and snaps at the customers as if she is doing us a favor when we go there to spend our hard earned money!!.. Just go in there expecting to eat good food with horrible service!

Inspiring atmosphere with just a few tables and a beautiful bar. Food was very fresh with great spice. I had the Jollof Rice with grilled tilapia and is was wonderful. Also sampled the Peanut Soup which is an absolute must next time I go there.

This restaurant is one of my favorites, on the north side of the city! Outstanding African cuisine, from several regions of the Continent, presented with much style and a bit of flair. The drinks form the bar are amazing as well! I highly recommend the Palm Wine martini. It is splendid. My favorite meal has to be the fufu or the egusi! West African classic meals! Meter, street parking is available, though it can be a bit tight on weekend evenings. This restaurant is located in a highly-traveled pedestrian corridor of restaurants and shops, It is a quick short walk from the L train. You may need to give them a few extra minutes to organize the bill, however. West African classic.
