I was recommend Dr. Friedman from my PCP and I feel so lucky and blessed. I had strep throat for months and it wouldn’t go away. Dr. Friedman have me a thorough exam and found that not only did I need my tonsils removed but I also must have broke my nose as a child and needed a few sinus reconstruction procedures as well. He was always 100% honest with me. Especially about the surgery which he didn’t sugarcoat at all and prepared me for the worst. Dr. Friedman is such an amazing surgeon. He did n amazing and great job that I didn’t have nearly the awful experiences I’ve heard others have that’s typical with adults having tonsillectomy surgery. The rest of the staff is also very friendly and helpful. Extremely professional and amazing. Anyone needing ENT care or surgery won’t be able to find a better place than Chicago ENT and Dr. Friedman.

I saw Dr. Friedman in the Skokie location regarding my deviated septum. I underwent septoplasty surgery and saw Dr. Friedman weekly until my recover was complete. His patience, friendly nature, and expertise was felt in every visit. His office ran things very smoothly, handling COVID procedures, scheduling, and text reminders flawlessly. This doctor put every single worry behind me. I had a lump, cried for days, he assured me it wasn’t cancer. No unnecessary tests. Just good-ol’-fashion doctoring. When he gave me the news I was grateful to hear, I started tearing up, he took my head and hugged it. (In a fatherly way) I’ve never felt so safe. He’s soft spoken and patient. I met with Dr. Levy to discuss options for my deviated septum. He recommended surgery, and I was booked about two months later. It was such a positive experience, both with Dr. Levy and the whole staff at Illinois Masonic! Recovery was easy, and post-op appoints fast and helpful.
