We have been on many food and drink tours, including another in Chicago. This was by far the best (Saigon to Stockholm). Phyllis is incredibly knowledgeable about food and neighbourhoods the tours are in, and she is clearly passionate about what she does. There were 4 of us (including a 1 year old in a stroller), plus 3 others in the group, and we had a great time. She even includes an email after the tour recapping everything you tasted so you can really enjoy the tour. We will definitely be back for the Little Italy tour! Thank you Phyllis.

My nephew and I did our very first food tour and we are hooked. We loved the mix of food and history and the hands on experience. The walk through the neighborhoods was wonderful and we spent time after the tour shopping on Clark St. It was a wonderful afternoon and Phyllis was the perfect tour guide.

This tour is a fascinating combination of American diversity and Chicago's history with food that perfectly complements the story. Phyllis took us through Vietnamese, Swedish, and Middle Eastern neighborhoods, explaining their rich history and giving us little \tastes\ all along the way. I was raised in a Vietnamese rich culture and the food was surprisingly better than I'd ever had. My wife and I thought it to be an exceptional value because although it was labeled as a 'tasting' we didn't eat the rest of the day! I also discovered a new sandwich I love - Banh Mi sandwich. I can't wait to eat more of them! :) Phyllis has obviously done a great deal of research and has honed her craft well. I can't recommend this tour enough. It has it all, education, inside/unique knowledge, passion, and delicious cuisine.

Phyllis' food tour was a very unique food and culture experience. It was about how some of the uptown Chicago neighborhoods came to be and how they were shaped by the people who migrated there from different parts of the country and the world. The food samples were some of the best I've had, and so was the coffee. If I ever return to Chicago and Phyllis has a spot available on a different food tour, I'll be sure to sign up.

Phyllis is a very knowledgeable tour guide. We enjoyed some delicious food in several different colorful and aromatic restaurants. The little Italy neighborhood has a fascinating history. A number of very strong women figures grew up here, including one Saint. Despite the cold weather, I would highly recommend this food tour. Well done Phyllis!
