Stumbled upon this place on my way to Willis Tower during Christmas time 2019. Lots of great german food, unique gifts, and hot chocolate! Stop here!!

It's a German themed Christmas market for short. Plenty of food to try here, souvenirs, crafts, handmade and commercial trinkets along with music. Only available for a short while but it's definitely a fun place to visit and bring along friends. Place looks nice at night with all the lights but it's also packed. It's more relaxed and calm during the day.

I happened to stumble on this place during my recent trip to Chicago during Thanksgiving. The market is very close to the Clark/Lake station. It was really crowded initially but it got better as time passed. Decided to get the Hot Apple Cider ( mostly for the commemorative mug :)) and giant pretzel from one of the countless stalls that sell these. Also special mention to the candy store. Nothing better than having a Chicago Mix and rum flavored peanuts on a chilly winter night. Do check this place out if youre in and around the area. P.S : Most of the places are cash only so make a quick visit to the ATM before coming here.

A Chicago tradition. Love the vendors and food options. Miss it being in person this year due to Covid as I love to go every year but love that they offer online options.

We come every year as its a nice tradition. We love all the vendors offerings and the Austrian strudel booth is the best this side of the pond bar none! I only give 4 as they need to put benches out so people have a place to sit to have their food. They have some stand up places but that is not enough. There is an inside beer tent but all the good food stands are outside! Great place to spend an afternoon. Seasonal fair during month of December and free admission!
