Losing your hair to cancer is one of the most emotionally devastating things to go through. I was worried about not looking like myself after going through treatment. However, after meeting Kimberly and going to Chrysalis, losing my hair was significantly less traumatic because she was able to make a wig that looked exactly like my hair, down to the highlights and layered cut. I could not have asked for anything more. She was very thorough and attentive to every detail of my hair. My own family said that if they did not know I was wearing a wig, they would never guess. My girlfriends were shocked when I told them I was wearing a wig because it looked exactly like myself. This is significantly more money than a synthetic wig that you could buy off the internet, but if you are able to afford it, I would highly recommend Chrysalis and Kimberly.

Having cancer sucks. Losing my hair was one of the more emotional parts of this whole situation so far. However, Chrysalis made this whole process so much easier and even \fun\! The staff really took the time to find a wig that suited me perfectly and then styled it with bangs and a ponytail to match my typical style. It looks amazingly real and I even had 2 extended family members ask when I was going to lose my hair while wearing my wig! For my appointment I brought my husband, parents and five siblings. We can be a lot to handle! We drank champagne, laughed, cried and made the most of the experience. Not many places would have made us feel so welcomed and I thank them for this. I couldn't recommend Chrysalis more. Thank you for making this sucky time a little less sucky and for my beautiful wig!

My hairdresser in Lincoln Park told me about wonderful Chrysalis after I learned that I would lose all my hair from treatments. The wig that Chrysalis designed for me was an exact color match to my existing hair. The wavy style and length were duplicated almost perfectly. Lette, the hair stylist was very professional and great at what she does. Both the owner Kim and manager Amanda were understanding, patient, supportive and very knowledgeable about a subject that needs to be treated with empathy and delicacy. I highly recommend this salon for anyone going through any process of losing their hair. The emotional roller coaster of losing my hair was offset by the terrific experience that Chrysalis had to offer. I get so many compliments on my ew\ hair!!! Thank you, Chrysalis.
Was skeptical about going here but the people here are very kind and very helpful. Definitely recommended if this is something you need they cater to Spanish speaking as well. Definitely glad I decided to take the wife there. Just to see her happy face and see her smile again is priceless
