Cornerstone is a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and is inter-generational and diverse. This church meets on Sundays at 9:30 am. Worship is very solid, and biblically rooted. It’s not a concert, but about giving praise to our God, hearing his Word in the sermon, and learning how to apply all of it through Sunday school classes (for kids, youth, and adults.) Every other month, there is a church luncheon, and the people here really know how to cook and show hospitality. Refreshments are served after service, and before Sunday school. There’s even a parking lot (rare for the city!), but also easy access from CTA. Can’t beat how close it is to Chinatown too.

Our pastor, Calvin Robinson teaches, encourages and shows us how to search the scriptures, to determine what God's word says, then how to apply that in tangible ways in the world around us, everyday.
