We found this restaurant wonderful. Servers were kind and attentive and completely unpretentious with our questions about why the spoon had a dent in it. We enjoyed a lovely anniversary meal here and appreciated the variety without excess portions and the traditional touch of amuse bouche and sorbet before dessert. I love this style of traditional French cuisine and wish it always to prosper.

The food wasn’t bad, but that’s a given after all its a Michelin star restaurant. However, it was definitely not worth the price. The dinner menu was advertised as 146 however caviar was charged separately. We ended up paying twice what we had expected from purely not knowing that the dinner price does not cover the dinner items listed. I called multiple times asking for a window view, moved dinner time up to 530 pm just so we could have that, and even then ended up not getting a window view. It seems silly to have such an overpriced restaurant and not offer reservations for tables according to view. The dessert was no good and we ended up leaving more than half of it untouched, and given it’s a french restaurant, that is saying something. The lobster was definitely good as was the risotto, however this quality can be gotten for a fraction of the price. Would not revisit or recommend.
This place is the one I always prefer. I go to many restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very welcoming and the cuisine they serve is so tasty. I would always prefer to have a decent dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.
In one word: OUTSTANDING. We've been lucky enough to have eaten here twice, and both meals were absolutely fabulous. Service could not be better, wine selection is great, cocktails superb, and the food? Ooh La La! After our meal, we got to meet and speak with Chef Jean Joho, and pass on greetings from Paul Haeberlin in Illshaeusern, France. The view from way up is spectacular, looking to the west, but the tables adjacent to the windows seem to be booked further ahead than we make out plans. Otherwise, I'll let these photos speak for themselves.
Amazing dinner for "carry-out". Excellent French cuisine that was truly enjoyed in the comfort of our home to due Covid. We will miss this iconic Chicago landmark when it closes.
We like a lot going out. Yesterday we went to this excellent place which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a lovely time there with excellent meal and a well-trained team and a professional cook. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall no doubt go again very soon. We deeply recommend.
