Super welcoming environment with professional standards/outcomes. Taught by people who have a wealth of personal knowledge and first hand experiences which paint a realistic picture of job expectations and lifestyle. All this paired with real world equipment and practical scenarios to prepare you for both testing and the job itself. I had a great time in this course and definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into the EMS world! Instructors make content digestible and are very flexible with personal schedules/obligations.

I would recommend this class 100%. All the instructors are professionals and teach the right way. I knew nothing about EMS before this class and all the instructors helped me in every way. With all the awesome equipment and resources this class offers, there’s no reason to not go thru First Five to pursue your goals. I’m extremely happy I took this course and can’t thank each instructor enough for all the hard work and time they put in for each student.
After reviewing different programs throughout the city, I decided to go with First Five and was not let down! The instructors go the extra mile for their students ensuring they know the material in order to succeed on the national and in real life. The classes were as informative as they were interactive - I definitely recommend First Five and believe it is a good fit for anyone interested in this profession.
Even with a background in EMS I found the coarse extremely informative, all the instructors were professional but accessible willing to assist you up and above what you would have expected. State of the art learning tools like the 3D aumented reality glasses.... unbelievable. Best place to start your introduction to a career in EMS.
First five was an amazing program! It is taught by actual paramedics and firefighters/emts. They really care about you and how you perform! They invest so much time and equipment into training you. After completing the course and going on my ride times I know My training exceeded the basic emt level. I recommend this class to everyone!
