I can't say enough compliments about their sushi! They are very small but charming place with a very friendly waitress! Sushi are delicious, fresh, original. The way they present it also great. Probably in my top 3 sushi spots in Chicago. I wish they run more specials or Groupon deals anytime soon.

This is my very, very, very favorite sushi in Chicago.We've searched for years and now the best ever sushi is right down the street! We usually get take out but we've eaten there, we've really enjoyed the presentation and the service. The staff is friendly and talented. I wish we could eat here every night but it's a little on the pricey side (but well worth it.)
I googled "noodles 60622" and found Gary Sushi near me. My wife and I went there last night for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the sushi - which was good, but given the abundance of sushi places, just having tasty and fresh sushi does not set a restaurant aside in our neighborhood anymore. But what does set Gari's aside, was the noodles, which were beyond excellent - spicy, full of flavor and great meatballs in her dish. A good noodle house in Chicago is rare gem, and that is what Gari Sushi and Asian Bistro is. The place was reasonably priced (our dinner tab was 33 - and we were stuffed), and is BYOB.
I live down the block and frequent this restaurant almost every Friday night with my wife. It's BYOB so we bring a couple bottles of wine and we roll ourselves out of this place for about 50 total... including dessert. It's a hidden gem for a nice, quiet meal. They serve more than just sushi too. Try one of their Ramen bowls if you're in the mood for some great soup.
We have tried many sushi places in Chicago and this was definitely one of the best places I have been to. The waiter was great with his recommendations and the food arrived extremely fast. Great sushi and amazing service.
Stunning food, amazing service, warm atmosphere, friendly staff and holy cow the prices are awesome! This little place is really worth going to.
I went here with a groupon. The price was super high considering the sushi. There was only one roll that I enjoyed, the rest were nothing special. Overall, I was very disappointed.
