I took a hand building class and really enjoyed it. I had no prior experience with clay so it was a great intro. The staff was very friendly and the teacher was patient and knowledgeable. Lots of friendly and talented artists working on their own projects as well. Would recommend for beginners and seasoned ceramicists!

As a life time art lover and sometimes maker of ceramics, I have been hugely impressed with the atmosphere and environment that has been created at Gnarware. The location is easily accessible, the classes are super fun and the staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. Working in clay is extremely therapeutic, both emotionally and physically and I feel really proud of the ceramics I have made during my membership. My vessels and sculptures also make great gifts!! I highly recommend this studio to anyone, from first timer to expert ceramics artist.

I love GnarWare! I even moved to Pilsen last year so I could be closer to GnarWare. I've been a studio member for 2 years, and it has been the best decision I made for myself. I started by taking an introductory Hand-building class taught by the managing owner, Liz, and I've been hooked ever since! My friends and family love it when I make them bowls. GnarWare studio techs (shout out to Frenchy and Ike) are incredibly helpful and friendly. They're invested in your projects and always ready to trouble-shoot with you. I love it when Liz shows me something cool and new to try out with my ceramics. On top of that, I've met some really cool and interesting people here and seeing their work have inspired me! If you are looking to try out a new hobby or rekindle your old interest, this is the perfect place to explore ceramics.

we had schedule a class for 9/27/2020 at 7-9 and we arrived at 6:45pm. We were told that there was a glitch in the system and the class was not ever offerred at the time... how is that when possible? horrible service, will never set foot in this place. I hope we get a refund as I told the person we're definitely going to let people know how the business is run, to which she responded with \that sounds like a blackmail\. Blackmail for what? we're never coming back after this incident. We were very excited to get long term pottery a chance (been to 2 different ones before but far) but that's all out the window. Thanks for ruining our weekend

Super welcoming place to take ceramics classes. They also rent studio time.
